NSF: Adetunji in Delta state colours

Fresh from her trip to Mauritius where she competed in the amateur category of the AfroAsia Mauritius Open Pro-Am tournament, Alaba Adetunji will be one of the players to watch out for; especially in golf at the 2018 National Sports festival which begins on Saturday.

The Policewoman who hails from Ogun State is representing Delta state at the festival. And she is expected to join her team mates from Delta state on 8th of December, before teeing off her event on Tuesday, December 11th.

The 9-handicaper known for her determination to always excel is a great striker of the golf ball. Alaba, as she is fondly called is one golfer who takes her game seriously. Her inclusion in Team Delta is therefore not a surprise to many.

Holder of many Ladies Club Championship title, Alaba is a golfer many thought should have turned professional by now, but it seems her decision to remains as an amateur is paying off as she wins more often than she does doesn’t.

Beside been a regular face on the ladies tour, Alaba is also known to be able to hold her own in a field where you have male competing as well.
